Terms and Conditions
In this ‘Terms and Conditions’, the term “you” and/or “your” shall include reference to your child below 13 years old who will access and use this website and its features.
Welcome to the “qrangers.com” Portal (the “Portal”), operated by Rangers, a division of Rangers Ltd. The Portal serves as an online portal for students, parents, agents and institutions in the education industry to access the information they need to make informed decisions and to facilitate communication amongst its users. These Terms and Conditions apply to every person visiting the Portal and by coming to the Portal, you agree to read and agree to the Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with these conditions, you must not use the Portal.
Checking the “Accept” button during sign up means you accept and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time. We are free to change, add, or delete any part of the Terms and Conditions at our own discretion. We will notify you of any changes to our Terms and Condition by publishing changes on the Portal. You can access the site and see the date of the last revision of our Terms and Condition at the very top of this document. If you do not agree to the changes, feel free to terminate your use of the Portal accordingly by signing out and closing the window on your browser.

No Academic Credit
Unless otherwise indicated by a credit-granting institution, participation in or completion of any content offering on our site does not confer any academic credit. Even if credit is awarded by one institution, there is no presumption that other institutions will accept that credit. You agree not to accept credit for completing online courses and programs (“Content Offerings”) unless you have earned a certificate or other equivalent documentation of your completion of the Content Offerings. Rangers, instructors, and the associated content providers have no obligation to have Content Offerings recognized by any educational institution or accreditation organization.
Data Usage
We value the safety and security of your personal information. In order to proceed with the use of the Portal, you agree to the following conditions regarding your personal information.
Personal information shall include the following:
- Name
- Email Address
- Phone number
- Education background and application records
- Professional background and credentials
- Ongoing student records
- Payment information and details

Personal Information includes information or an opinion forming part of a database, whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained, from the information or opinion.
Submission of Complete and Accurate Data
In order to use the Portal, you must:
- Provide personal information that is complete, updated, and accurate as part of your application process. This includes your name, contact information, citizenship, gender, date of birth, legal status, mailing address, emergency contact information, financial information for assessment of your capacity to support your studies abroad, educational qualifications, transcript, language proficiency scores, passport details, and all other information required for admissions, which include financial and medical information, as requested by the Portal.
- Obtain all necessary permission(s) from any affected third party, such as your educational institution, before applying to the Portal.
Intellectual Property Rights
Unless stated otherwise, Rangers has full ownership to the intellectual property rights of the Portal and all materials used on the Portal. The Rangers intellectual property and materials contained on the Portal can be used for your personal use, except under these conditions:
- Republishing of the intellectual property or materials from the Portal to other online, digital, or print media platforms; sub-licensing of any product or info taken from the Portal; and reproduction of any work, survey or study produced by the Portal.
No non-personal or commercial use of this intellectual property or materials is authorized nor permitted.
Copyrights and Trademarks
Rangers holds sole rights to all the digital content and information found on the Portal, except those that you can find on the internet in compliance with the fair usage policy.
We prohibit the use of our trademarks for any commercial and non-commercial use without our prior consent. All the data mining activities, i.e., scrapping, crawling and republishing, is not allowed until and unless written permission is obtained from Rangers.
Downloading content from the Portal does not grant you any rights or titles to use it for commercial use.
Communication
We hold the sole rights to, and you explicitly authorize us to store and retain all emails, comments, and views that relate to the services provided on the Portal or posted by you or your child, and we are free to use this information for the purposes of the Portal. However, you can at any time request to delete, remove, edit, or otherwise revise content that is posted on the Portal, which you may wish to amend or delete. The use of foul and offensive language in any form is strictly prohibited, as is any content that breaches our Unacceptable Use provisions (see below).
Creating a Profile and Account
Subject to the limitation of liability below, the Portal will protect all private information provided by the you or your child with the terms specified in our Privacy Policy document. By creating a profile with your and/or your child’s personal information, you agree to comply with the terms of that Privacy Policy which protect your confidentiality, contact info, and documents for the information you provide to Rangers.
You will have your own account in the Portal called “My Account” where you can view your Shopping Cart, Payment History and site activity. Within your profile, you can create your child’s username and account.
Children below 13 years of age can use this website and register for an account with verifiable consent from the parent or guardian. The needed information for account creation is limited to the child’s first name, last name and date of birth.
Consent to the Processing of Your Data
Part of our services involves the collection and processing of your data and submission to our college and university affiliates and our international service providers. Continued use of the Portal means you allow us to:
- Disclose your personal information to our colleges and universities colleges and universities, and affiliated agents with Rangers (“Partners”), visa agencies, and language testing organizations as part of our Rangers services which may be located out of the country.
- Transmit messages to you from Rangers for both marketing and informational purposes in relation to our products and services.
- Your data is solely yours as nothing herein gives Rangers ownership of your Personal Information or permission to use it outside the purposes of the services we provide to you and for which you are agreeing to herein.
- Under no circumstances will your Personal Information be used by Rangers for the purpose of marketing and sales.

Your Personal Information will be handled in accordance with Rangers’ Privacy Policy. Having said that, we reserve the right at any time to disclose any personal information that is deemed necessary or required by applicable law, legal process, or the requirements of a government or regulatory authority.
We may collect personal information when you:
- Create an account
- Explore programs
- Create a student profile and/or apply to an educational program or course on the platform
- Use a Rangers email account
- Post something on our Website/Portal
- Communicate with us
- Process payment for programs and courses
- Sign up for promotional emails and other communication materials
- Participate in our surveys
- Sign up for contests and promotions
- Apply to become a Rangers institution partner
Storing Your Data in Other Jurisdictions
Due to the nature of Rangers being an international operation, and that we from time to time contract for the services of third party contractors that reside outside of Canada, you acknowledge that your Personal Information may be stored in foreign servers and jurisdictions other than in Canada, that of which we may have no direct control. Your Personal Information may be subjected to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is located or to the terms and agreement in place with the owner of that server.
De-Identification of Your Personal Information
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best service to you, you authorize and allow Rangers to grant access to third parties to use our database or provide them with your Personal Information as a way for us to improve our services, perform analytics, create marketing strategies for Rangers, and enhance the user experience. Third parties will only be allowed to access the Personal Information in a way that does not identify you or compromise your personal privacy. Any profit or analysis done with the use of this Personal Information is part of our intellectual property rights.
Limitation of Liability
By using the Rangers Portal (the “Portal), you agree that Rangers (owned by Rangers Ltd.) is not liable for any contracts or legal transactions of any kind you may have entered into with a third party as a result of using the Portal. We are also not responsible for, nor obligated to verify or justify information given by colleges and universities, and affiliated agents with Rangers (“ Partners”), institutions, and individuals utilizing the Portal. This includes comments, reviews, program and course descriptions given by them or made by them on the Portal. We advise you to use all available resources online and offline to verify the information and representation you may encounter from third parties utilizing the Portal and use all due diligence accordingly.
Further we are not responsible nor do we have any control over the links provided by third-parties and you should use all diligence and safeguards to ensure that any website you visit is free of destructive items such as worms or viruses. Links available to outside websites on the Portal are meant for convenience only. No endorsement of any third party products or services is expressed or implied by any information or content that is included on, or linked to or from the Portal.
In the event of a system error, or catastrophic event, or other reasons beyond our reasonable control that leads to the Portal not being operational, we are not held responsible for any breach of our terms of service including any fundamental term or negligence that would lead to damages owing to you or any third party, including loss of opportunity, loss of profits and loss of business opportunities that result in any way from our providing access to the Portal, or its various services.
Rangers Ltd. shall not be liable for, and you shall indemnify and save harmless from and against all suits, claims or judgments howsoever arising out of claims for libel, slander, infringement of copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights or contractual rights of any third party or based on any other legal theory howsoever arising from the material, data or other content from the services provided for on the Portal. For the purposes of this section, any reference to Rangers Ltd. shall include its subsidiaries, Partners or associates, or any of their respective directors, officers, employees, servants, contractors or agents.
Unacceptable Use
We do not condone the use of the Portal for the purpose of propagating malicious or harmful software and content. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Posting, storing, transmitting or disseminating unlawful material, including without limitation, child or other pornography, any content, data or other material that is libelous, obscene, hateful, unlawful, threatening, reaction or ethnically offensive, defamatory or in any way constitutes or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense;
- Disseminating material which violates copyright or intellectual property rights, where the user assumes all risk regarding whether material is in the public domain;
- Posting or disseminating material that is harassing, bullying, or considered stalking;
- Pyramid or other illegal soliciting schemes; or
- Fraudulent activities, including but not limited to impersonating any person or entity, or forging anyone’s digital or manual signature.
Breach of any of these provisions is a serious violation of the Privacy Policy and agreed Terms and Conditions, and may at our sole discretion lead to your immediate suspension or termination of use of the Portal.
Governing Law
By using the Portal, you consent and agree that the Terms and Conditions (link) of using the Portal and our Privacy Policy (this document) will be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of the province of British Columbia and of Canada. Each party irrevocably consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the province of British Columbia for the resolution of any matter arising under the Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy for which judicial relief is sought.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to change or modify the Privacy Policy at any time we deem fit. Continued use of the Portal means you accept and are willing to comply with these changes. Before using the Portal, we advise you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you use the Portal to check for updates that may affect you and your use.
Changes to the Portal
At any given time, we reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or discontinue the Portal and all information available on the Portal without prior notice.
Right to Edit and Remove Your Personal Information
Rangers reserves the right to review your Personal Information stored in our servers to make sure that it complies with the Privacy Policy. At our discretion, we may edit or remove any information we deem as obscene, vulgar, offensive, abusive, threatening, or otherwise objectionable or otherwise qualifies as unacceptable use, in our sole discretion.
Suspension or Termination
- Rangers can restrict or terminate your access to the Portal, or any services found in the Portal, if we find that you have breached the Terms and Conditions or our Privacy Policy. You will be notified of any changes to your account as is reasonably practical.
- We also reserve the right to revoke your access to Q for any abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or otherwise harmful activity on the Portal, and termination could either be temporary or permanent. Any actions that could threaten or undermine our system, our third party networks, files, documents, and other necessary data would also result in termination.
- Rangers may also limit your activity, suspend temporarily or permanently, or provide a warning to any users who: (a) would breach any part of our Terms and Conditions, (b) are unable to verify, authenticate, or provide accurate information, (c) whose actions can cause legal and financial liability to themselves, to Rangers, and to our Partners, (d) or, who have been found to provide false, misleading or fraudulent information. We may also take other legal or technical actions not stated above if we deem it necessary.
Investigations
Rangers reserves the right to investigate any suspected violations of the Privacy Policy. In the event of an investigation, you agree to reasonably comply with all legal and government authorities, third party investigators of academic fraud and misinformation, system administrators, and other related network handlers.
